Inscription ?

You find logs in the endless forest as well as hunting and other stuff. I think inscription will have benefits in the future but personally, I'm not focusing on it right now.

In the workshop there's a place called the scribe's workshop. That's where you get your inscription stuff like black ink and pine paper.
