Dose and frosthorn
Posted by 2153880976 on Feb. 25, 2025I noticed that frost horns ability was triggering before I even applied my burn status effect. How does it work? If my dose ability activates burn upon attack, why don’t I do damage before frost horn attacks me?

I'm not an expert and maybe someone more knowledgeable can answer but from what I remember seeing on discord, Frosthorn attacks when a status affect is applied to it.

Your Dos should deal damage and apply burning before Fury of the Peaks triggers. I'll have to look into it.
If you have anything that puts a positive status effect on at the start of battle or a turn it can trigger Frosthorns ability. So if you are using something like Mysterious Vial, or even brand of Seacorn, it's going to give Frosthorn a chance to attack first. Critical Thinker triggers as the turn starts, so therefor comes before any of the attacks
