Losing instead of gainning
Posted by MasterSadler on June 17, 2023Yes, I am coming to informed you that when I am fighting in the Areana instead of me gaining exp I am losing them. I was wondering, if you could take a look at it, and see why is this going on; and fix it please.

That is very strange. What pet were you using? Does it happen every time you use this pet? Sorry about the problem.
I am useing female Debby and yes it is doing it.

Your female Devvy currently has 217,334 experience. Do you think you could fight a few matches so I can verify it's going down? It seems like the only way you could get negative experience is to fight a pet that has a negative level, but I may be missing something and need to dig into it a little deeper.

It says you're at 236,916 now, so it has gained 19,582 experience. Did you do something else with it? I can clone your pet tomorrow and mess around with it. Does Alexa say it's giving negative experience?
When I am in the Areana it goes up, and then back down. I just plaied a few rounds in the Areana, and the first match I won, I had gained 3000 and something. Then when I did another match, it said I had gained 300 exp. It goes up and down. I know not why it does this. If you can, please find out why it is doing this.

Oh, that's because experience is based on the pet level and doesn't factor in rarity. Higher rarity pets will have an easier time having a higher arena match-making rating at lower levels than common pets, so you are most likely getting the larger experience numbers from common and uncommon pets and the lower experience amounts from higher rarity pets. I can add an experience multiplier for rarity to account for the difference.
Yes, please do that. Will it be in the next update, or will it just be added to this one you have already updated?

I made this change a few days ago. Is everyone happy with the results? I feel like the Arena might be the best place for xp now. 😂
